Dear Family and Friends

Happy New Year! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! 

December for us was filled with social gatherings and Christmas services throughout the month. It’s a wonderful time to invite people who usually don’t go to church or maybe even for the first time (like so many of our Chinese students) – and giving them an opportunity to hear the true reason for the season- Jesus!

As I was thinking about what to write in this month’s letter, I remembered a few pictures that I took a few weeks ago of Dina and me in Windsor Park.  It’s been quite cold in London but on this day, we wanted to get out and get some fresh air.  Our original plan was to go somewhere a little further outside of London, but the fog was too thick to drive there so we ended up in this park.

It looks clearer in the pictures than it actually was – you could only see a little ways in front of you but as you can see, there was a path to follow that made it easy. 

This week is our Every Nation Global Prayer and Fasting time where we set aside five days of prayer and fasting to humble ourselves before God, consecrate ourselves for Him for the upcoming year and corporately believe for breakthroughs.

If you are like me, as I think about many of the things that are coming up in 2025, I can only see so far into the what, how, when and where – just like in the fog Dina and I were walking in.

If you haven’t set some time aside yet for this year, I encourage you to take a few days to seek God for direction.  I am trusting that this week of prayer and fasting will bring clarity and discernment on the many things God has in store for me in 2025. 

As Dina and I were walking through the fog we had peace because we were confident of the direction we were going even though we could only see a few steps ahead of us.  I am confident that even though I might not know what the end results are of the things God has ahead for me, that He will guide my path and give me peace.

Please pray for me for the next coming months as I am involved in the following things so far:

-        Launching a new term of ENC (University Campus) ministries here in London

-        Launching a new term of our ENC Cluster groups across Europe

-        Travel to Prague for preparations for our ENC Conference 20- 22 January

-        Preach in our West Congregation – 26 January

-        Teach at our Follow Two Course – 24 February

-        In Prague for our Every Nation Europe Build & ENC Conference 24-30 March

-        In America for April to raise support

These are just a few of the things on my calendar at the moment that do not include the regular mentoring that I do in London and throughout Europe.
